Hey Phatty! I know you're a man who appreciates quality, therefore I was quite confused when I noticed you using those Dr. Dre Monster Beat earbuds. I mean they're decent earphones for the uninitiated but certainly far from top quality. Why don't you check out some Etymotics or Ultimate Ears? I'm sure you'll appreciate the difference. Good luck!

GW, I think most of your outfits are nice (more than nice). The one improvement I think you need is to have all your shirts professionally pressed. There are too many small wrinkles on your collar that ruined the look.
Thanks & FYI I actually don’t iron my shirts.
Assuming you know, but there is a difference between fused collars (as sold by most) & soft free-floating collars where “character” & “comfort” is paramount to me.
Saying that, I do enjoy ironing & do so when the occasion arises as am never happy when I send out my laundry for pressing.
I'm an amateur photographer as well. Does your preference for rangefinders, as well as pictures of girls with rangefinders, have something to do with their aesthetic? In other words, do you like them for how they look as much as how they function? I'm an SLR man (digital or otherwise). I really appreciate all the work you do on your Brog. Thanks.
I’d say it is a combination of self-fulfilling prophecy & the style of photography I like. & the need for less complications.
FWIW I went from P&S to RF (actually I have only been using a RF for 12 months) after discussing with other photographers re my style & requirements. i.e. still life, street/journalistic & portraits.
Saying that, I recently have been thinking about DSLRs for macro & fast moving captures.. But every time I pick up a DSLR I am overwhelmed with all the buttons & the size & underwhelmed with the feel.
IMO RF photography is more intimate as one relies on a few prime lens & need to be able to see & position them selves - no zooms etc.
I’m sure you know the difference, but I’m sure there are others that don’t - here are some great links
I recall (from Styleforum) that you used to have a Filson small shoulder bag (model 230, I think). I am considering getting the same, but am not sure whether it will be too small for my purposes.
In your experience, would it accommodate, say, a wallet, phone, sunglasses case, and a copy of Monocle magazine?
in summary no, as that is one of my requirements for a daily bag - MUST FIT MAGAZINE (landscape or portrait).
