Start Young..

Many ask why the Italian/French are just that bit more stylish. In my opinion it’s because they start young. Be it fashion, food or culture.

Closer to home is how I see the difference between my Sistah & I to others that we grew up with - although we came from the same roots, our parents chose a different path. This is very evident when ever there are family/friends or community get togethers such as wedding & funerals. My family just “look different” because we “think different”.

My parents sent  us to different schools so that we would learn to mix instead of going to a school where we knew everyone.

We travelled at every opportunity.

We tried all cuisine.

I see this also with my Niece & Nephew through the environment that my Sistah offers them.

Though this is happening with the internet culture of today, the difference is that discovery through the internet is very different to discovery through real life.

So start young, get out there & make mistakes whilst living.
