Now that I don’t have to wear suits everyday, maybe, just maybe I can get my head around the whole sneaker/trainer/runners/denim/creative game..

Yes, you have read right.

I can now finally answer the emails & messages (SocialMedia etc) about the lack of me in suits & ties over the last few months (although I have been on holidays since mid-December).

An opportunity for me to join a great company happened late last year & after a few months of discussions, I tendered my resignation in January 2012 to take this opportunity.

This company prides itself on “Thinking Different”.

For now, I will no longer be international airport or hotel hopping, but enjoying the simplicity of being back home (Sydney, Australia) as much as possible with my immediate family (more so than the last 4 years where I have spread myself across 2 countries).

This was an easy decision as I have always believed & preached to any that would listen, your job defines who you are.

But 2 standouts made this decision easy:

1. To be with my family (Mom, Sistah, Niece & Nephew) as much as possible, especially as my Niece & Nephew are at the age where growth is FAST & a steady family centric environment is essential
2. To be part of a company that prides in “Thinking Different”

I want to also take this opportunity for all those that have emailed me when a change was evident to ask what is happening. We live in strange times where people that we never meet have a interest.

So, there will be less no more suits & ties as this company has a strict policy about “NO TIES & SUITS”..
