What a ride - Things are going to be exciting when it is raining & there is a 45km gusty wind shifting all over the place.
Also factor in that I am 69kg, bike is 7kg fully loaded (cage, full bottle, peddles, & tools), & have semi-deep dish carbon wheels.
Yes, we got blown around. But we did it & look back with a smile.
Ms X asked why we do it - there is no simple answer other than rides like this morning with friends sharing a common bond, just make us stronger when the tough times come around.
